So iTunes was failing to complete backups then? I don't have the details to hand, but I recall may be an issue where in some cases certain accented or other non-roman characters in filenames for documents made on a device might trip up the backup process. What I really think is that the problem is caused by the Driver, which seems not to function properly. S I am looking for a download of the Mobile Device Support, which does not seem to be available.
